In its February 26, 2026 announcement, Bumble described AI-suggested Profile Guidance as rolling out globally and specifically said US members could use AI Photo Feedback. The same announcement described Suggest a Date as a Canadian test. These are different availability statements and should not be combined into a promise that all three appear in every US account. Where profile guidance could help
Consider a bio that lists five broad interests without explaining any of them. A useful revision is not necessarily longer. After receiving feedback, compare the result with your original purpose. Did it make an intention clearer? Did it remove a confusing phrase? Did it introduce an assumption you never intended? Accepting the useful part and discarding the rest is a better process than replacing your complete bio every time the tool suggests a different tone.
Photo advice needs human judgment
A photo can be technically bright and still be the wrong choice for your profile. For a practical choice, use a question that you would actually enjoy answering yourself. A small preference or a recent pleasant experience can work better than a demand for a clever performance. Avoid questions that ask strangers to disclose sensitive details or defend personal boundaries before you have even begun talking.
If the answer interests you, follow the person’s response rather than returning to a script. A conversation tool has done its job when you can respond naturally. It does not need to remain involved in every exchange, and it should not make you feel that a normal imperfect sentence is unacceptable.
Decide about payment separately
We are not publishing a single US price or a claimed AI bonus. Read the plan screen in your account for the current charge, renewal period and included functions. Do not assume that a paid tier includes an announced feature merely because both are discussed on the same website.
Before subscribing, identify one benefit you expect to use regularly. Then consider whether the available experience has already shown that Bumble fits your habits.
