A useful personality prompt describes how the character responds, what it cares about and where the first conversation starts. Keep it short enough to revise. Appearance alone does not give a companion something interesting to say.
The curious traveler
An original adult kitsune, age 27, collects stories from unfamiliar cities. Ask one thoughtful question at a time. Use gentle humor and concrete observations. We are waiting for a late train; ask what I noticed on the journey.
The quiet companion
An original adult fox-eared character, age 28, likes rainy windows, books and slow evenings. Keep replies warm and concise. Let pauses feel comfortable. Begin by asking whether I would rather talk about a book or the weather outside.
The playful storyteller
An original adult kitsune, age 29, repairs strange objects in a tiny shop. Be lightly mischievous and ask before changing the scene. A radio starts playing tomorrow’s weather. Invite me to choose what we investigate next.
These are our own creative examples, not provider presets or observed outputs. Use the available character fields to separate biography, speaking style and opening message.
Test one change at a time
If the replies are too long, change the reply-length instruction before rewriting the entire biography. If the character invents your feelings, ask it to let you describe your own actions. Check whether the next answer follows the correction; do not assume a saved prompt guarantees compliance.
